This program is specially designed for young people who are new to Norway—both international students. You will get:
- Norwegian language instruction
- Support with everyday life and integration
- Help understanding Norwegian society

What you will learn
Outdoor life and nature experiences
- Mountain hikes, forest trips, and overnight stays in tents and cabins
- Wildlife safaris to spot moose, roe deer, and capercaillie
- Fishing trips and kayaking
- A cabin-to-cabin trek with the Norwegian Trekking Association (DNT)
- Trips around Telemark, Western Norway, Southern Norway, Northern Norway, and Lofoten
Norwegian crafts
- Hands-on crafts in the school workshop
- Learn traditional making skills with textiles, wood, and metal
- Ceramics workshop
Culture and everyday life
- Get to know everyday Norwegian life and traditions
- Learn about the welfare system, education, work, and democracy
- Conversations about faith, the environment, identity, and culture
- Meet locals and take part in the local community
Singing and music
- Group singing and music activities—both Norwegian and international songs
- Opportunities to learn an instrument
- Choir and group singing
